Stay Positive Everyone, the Snow will Return
As snow hasn't returned to HSB - or anywhere else in Ontario for that matter - as we write this, we will be back on Zoom for Strength this Tuesday.
We'll continue to watch the forecast and keep you up-to-date should things change positively in terms of snow.
As for Saturday, we are looking at some different options for "Fun and Adventure" and will let you know the practice plans later in the week.
In the meantime, stay positive and stay active. Jack talks to the Sr Team about your mindset, and what you can accomplish is so often determined by your mindset. Keep thinking about what you CAN do each day to be better than you were yesterday.
As the coaches, we will do our best to keep the practices fun and challenging. All you need to do is show up!
Tuesday - Strength Training on Zoom
- Make sure you have a safe place to perform basic bodyweight exercises
- Look for an open area 6ft x 8ft on a soft floor (e.g. carpet or mats) that isn't slippery
- Make sure you work with your parents to test your computer set-up so you can see and be seen, as well as hear and be heard
- Make sure you have proper athletic clothing and a water bottle
- Listen to ALL the instructions
- Try to do ALL the exercises with excellent form
- Put forth a consistent effort throughout the ENTIRE workout
