It looks like we will creep out of the deep freeze for a couple of days midweek, but then it appears we will dip back down below 20 for our race Sunday the 7th. I will update with suggestions for glide and kick wax for Sunday but it is looking like Tips and Tails CH4 (Green) and some V20 green kick wax (According to the website VR30 Swix Krystal (fluorinated wax) is allowed for kick). Jack will have the trailer and wax in Mont Saint Anne so we can combine forces to get some wax stands and many hands on Sunday Morning. Since the race starts at 10am lets try to get there by 8-8:30am to do last minute waxing and a pre-ski at 9am sharp.
Ok so this week:
Monday: Rest or Alternate sport
Tuesday: Can you get out for a ski/run? 30-40 min with some short bursts! Classic would be great!
Wednesday: Meet me at Horseshoe ** at 2:30 - 4:30pm (They close at 4:30). Lets do a skate day and practice the amazing downhills that Horseshoe has to offer. Try to be ready to ski at 2:30 so come a little early to change and get ready.

Thursday: Strength (dryland) or on skis if you can - try a double pole intensity workout. 30 sec on 1 min off x 10. Warm up and cool down ski too!
Friday: Rest or Alternate sport
Saturday: Practice at Horseshoe 9:30am meet upstairs. Lets work on some mad classic skills to prepare for race Sunday.

YOU MUST ABSOLUTELY COME COLD WEATHER PREPARED. EXTRA BUFF FOR FACE. SKI GOGGLES ARE RECOMMENDED. WARM MITTS (NOT GLOVES) HAND AND TOE WARMERS. EXTRA LAYERS. BIG SMILES.
WE WILL CLASSIC SKI ON RETURN TRIPS TO WARMING HUT (FORMERLY THE WAX ROOM) TO WARM UP IF NEEDED.
I UNDERSTAND HOT CHOCOLATE WILL BE SOLD SO SLIP A TWOONIE IN WITH YOUR HAND WARMER AND WE WILL MAKE IT A PIT STOP.
Sunday: Midland Loppett at Mountainview. Pre-ski at 9am sharp. Wear warm layers. Last year there were cookie prizes so lets get out there!!!!
