We are finally seeing some consistent winter weather, so we can move to practices on BOTH Weekend Days.
Everyone seemed to have a good time at the Gift Exchange last Friday and we're looking forward to more fun on-snow this week.
Keep working on your weight transfer and pole timing as we get ready for some of the first events of the year.
Please also be sure to follow all team safety protocols at the beginning and at the end of practice so that we can all stay safe.
Wednesday - Skate at 10AM
We will be continuing to work on our One-Skate and Offset Technique.
Please meet at The Palace and arrive by 9:50AM so we can ski by 10:00AM. Practice will run until 11:30AM.
Friday - Classic at 10:00AM
With the snow forecast for this week, we should see some decent conditions for Classic by Friday. We will send out some Grip Wax recommendations on Thursday afternoon. After reading the recommendations, if you need any further guidance please don't hesitate to ask on Thursday night.
Please meet at the Main Chalet and arrive by 9:50AM so that we can begin skiing at 10:00AM. Practice will run until 12:00PM as we will do doing a longer ski.
Sunday - Midland Loppet or Race Simulation at HSB
Depending on what the organizers of the Midland Loppet decide to do, we will either look to attend the event itself or do a DIY version (a Classic Interval Start) at HSB. Stay tuned for more information, but both will take place in the morning.
