Nov 16-22

Hey there everyone.

Glad to see everyone out, jumping bounding and ski walking around Hardwood this weekend.  I would have roller skied but the morning snow made me a bit leery to take people out on the road.  Looks like a beauty week for getting out and being active then thing cool down on the weekend with scattered flurries which means ......go-kart race.

That's right we are going to build a go-kart and race them, up the hill, down the hill and all around.

What does this have to do with skiing you ask? well I am glad you asked.. absolutely nothing, it is just a really fun thing to do that requires team work, concentration and a fair amount of running and pushing.

I am looking forward to it already

Training this week


Tuesday - Riverdale - 5:30 to 7:30 please bring your running shoes, ski walking poles and head lamp.

Wednesday - Hardwood ski and Bike 5-7pm - ski walking, erging and strength.  lets keep building that fitness and strength.

Saturday - Hardwood ski and bike 1-4pm - bounding workout, ski walking, upper body strength and then a go-kart challenge


Training plan for the week

Monday - chill and get your homework done hommie

Tuesday - exercise video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=atOgYbhdYNc

Wednesday - 30 min run with some sprints, good to build up speed.  this can also be a sport like basketball or soccer with your friends

Thursday - lets do that exercise video again to work your whole body

Friday - just chilax and get ready for tomorrow

Saturday - train with the team and have a fun time

Sunday - grab your parents and the dog (if you have one and go and be active)
