What a week! Thank you to everyone who made
this week and weekend so much fun! From the lumberjack ski hike and party to
the crazy air at the ski-cross event, this will be a time to remember. I hope
you all had as much fun as I did! Please bring in your completed race sheets to
your next team practice.

Tuesday will be the usual time, place and activity,
please hope for comfortable temperatures.
Saturday we will be doing a morning session
with race prep and tech work with some video analysis. This will be a fun taste
of what’s to come in your high performance future.
Sunday will be a morning distance day for the
Jr A squad.

Training Checklist
- At least 60 min a day of
moderate to vigorous intensity
- Vigorous activities 3 days
a week
- Strengthening activities 3
days a week (strength circuit, skiing legs only, Skiing arms only, Erg)
- Extra ski training at
least once outside team practice
- One to two balance
training sessions per week (yoga, one legged balance exercises we did during
Dryland, getting comfortable balancing on one leg etc.)
Our Strength Circuit
30 seconds per activity, go
through the set 1 to 2 times
