PARENTS!!! This is also the ski swap so be prepared to see a volunteer signup sheet coming at you for helping with the swap. We also get funds towards our time that benefit the team.
Monday- off or fun sports with friends
Tuesday - Cardio 20' (can be warm up and cool down) and Strength 20'
Wednesday - Team Training - Roller ski technique and agility. Weather permitting. ALWAYS bring running shoes and walking poles please and thank you!
Thursday - Cardio 20' and Strength + Core 15'
Friday - off or fun sports with friends
Saturday - This Saturday we do not have team training as the majority of families were away.
What I would like to see is that athletes get out and do some training nonetheless. The bigger ones who own rollerskis can do a distance ski with 5-10 pickup sprints of 10 seconds. If you have no rollerskis, just get out and try to do some pole striding - and also include some max effort 10second sprints. The more hills you can find the better.
Sunday - Long Slow Day - distance hike or run or swim or bike or kayak or whatever you love!!! 1-2hrs
