Come our way Snow!
Tuesday - Field Skiing in Coldwater OR Strength Training on Zoom
For those of you who can make the drive to Coldwater, which does have a decent amount of snow, we will do a Classic ski in the fields behind the Curling Club at 5:30PM - see directions HERE.
There is plenty of space to park and we'll just ski around, make our own tracks, and then ski over them again!
Jamie will lead a group for 60-75min of skiing and you will need a HEADLAMP to join us as there aren't lights on in this field.
Classic Crowns, or Skins, are recommended for this sort of skiing. If you have a grip wax set of skis, a blue wax, or a colder purple, would be recommended.
For those in the GTA, we will have a practice for you on Zoom. Please join us between 5:20PM and 5:25PM so that we can start at 5:30PM.
- Make sure you have a safe place to perform basic bodyweight exercises
- Look for an open area 6ft x 8ft on a soft floor (e.g. carpet or mats) that isn't slippery
- Make sure you work with your parents to test your computer set-up so you can see and be seen, as well as hear and be heard
- Make sure you have proper athletic clothing and a water bottle
- Listen to ALL the instructions
- Try to do ALL the exercises with excellent form
- Put forth a consistent effort throughout the ENTIRE workout
